Donate on Auspicious Makar Sankranti and Bring Hope, Joy and Blessings
On the occasion of Makara Sankranti, devotees at ISKCON Juhu distributed 55,000 plates of full meal prasadam on 14 January 2025 and will continue distributing on 15 January 2025 reaching a total distribution of 1,11,000 (1.11 lakh) free hot plates of prasadam. The meal includes rice, subji, puri, and halava.
A team of 25 cooks and more than 150 devotees helped to prepare the prasadam and 120 tempos were engaged to dispatch the prasadam to reach the various locations around lunch time.
Hot meals were distributed at Borivali, Kandivali, Malad (East/West), Goregaon (East/West), Ram Mandir, Jogeshwari, Powai, Andheri (East/West), Versova, Vile Parle (West), Juhu Tara Road, Santacruz, Khar (East/West), Bandra, Govandi, Mankhurd, Chembur, Ghatkopar, Bhandup, Mulund and Thane.
